We are looking for an

It Specialist

to work in Ponsse Group Global Digital Services & IT Team in Uruguay.

In this role you will provide IT support via phone, ticketing system, and on-site assistance as needed. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.

You will escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams to ensure timely resolution. You will also maintain detailed documentation of support requests and resolutions within the ticketing system. This role involves supporting users across multiple regions, especially in North and South America, so strong multilingual communication skills are essential.

Required qualifications in this role:​ 

• Previous experience in IT Service Desk or technical support roles. 
• Strong proficiency in English and Spanish. Portuguese language skills are considered an advantage. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer service-oriented mindset. 
• IT-related education or equivalent work experience

As a person you thrive in a team environment and are skilled at communicating clearly and effectively with both users and colleagues. You possess strong organizational skills and have a keen eye for detail. You are adept at prioritizing tasks efficiently, quickly identifying problems, and implementing solutions as needed. You have a proactive attitude and are able to take the initiative to identify potential problems before they arise and suggest improvements to systems and processes.
