About Your Role,

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team at IOR. This role plays a critical part in building a world-class data capability to enhance commercial decision-making, drive margin expansion, and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with leadership and business teams to design advanced analytics models, unlock insights, and develop tools that power everyday business decisions.

• Accelerate enterprise value by embedding performance analytics, pricing intelligence, and data-driven strategy to drive growth and optimise margins.
• Embed advanced analytics at scale through machine learning, automation, and scenario modelling to inform operations, strategy, and commercial outcomes.
• Elevate pricing performance with custom pricing frameworks driven by market data, operational systems, and IOR’s proprietary Dashboard platform.
• Deliver strategic insights by translating complex data into simple, actionable recommendations that influence leadership decisions and operational execution.
• Uplift analytical maturity by developing scalable tools, mentoring analysts, and collaborating with tech teams to enhance IOR’s data architecture and capability.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need the following attributes:

• Educational foundation in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s required).
• Proven technical expertise in supervised machine learning, statistical modelling, simulations, and advanced programming (Python, R, SQL).
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in large-scale data visualisation, real-time analytics, and cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).
• Experience in advanced analytics, with added value for backgrounds in Monte Carlo simulation, predictive pricing, and supply chain optimisation.
• Commercially focused mindset, blending Agile practices with the ability to link analytical outputs to business performance and mentor others.
