Job Summary:
The JCDC is CISA’s flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and international partners to proactively defend against cyber threats. Our ECS team is at the center of providing support to JCDC as they continue to plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community and we are looking to grow our team supporting this critical mission.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Cyber Product Deployment Lead. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the successful deployment of strategic products across diverse stakeholder groups in the public and private sectors. This leader will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective strategies, engage with stakeholders, and monitor performance.
Responsibilities:
- Create and guide the strategic direction for the team's work, ensuring all activities directly support the client's mission and are aligned with broader goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement model to foster effective collaboration and communication with external partners.
- Lead a cross-functional team of specialists, including a Cyber Product Owner, Cyber Engagement Coordinator, and a Performance Monitoring team.
- Oversee the translation of strategic products into clear, practical formats that are tailored to the specific needs and operational constraints of different stakeholder groups, including large and small jurisdictions and critical infrastructure (CI) partners.
- Direct the execution of targeted outreach campaigns to effectively deliver cyber products to priority communities. This involves leveraging a variety of partner-specific communication channels like industry communities, ISAC portals, mailing lists, and webinars.
- Facilitate collaborative working sessions with external stakeholders to ensure that product recommendations align with their existing operational processes, compliance requirements, and resource limitations.
- Manage the monitoring of product adoption and usage across partner communities, identifying early indicators of success and potential barriers to implementation.
- Provide tailored recommendations and contextualized examples to stakeholders to address implementation challenges and encourage rapid adoption.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of performance data to measure the operational uptake of products and report on key metrics.
- US citizenship with an ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (EOD)
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing technical or strategic teams.
- Ten years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in translating high-level strategy into tangible, actionable products.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, with a track record of successfully collaborating with diverse
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring to track program effectiveness.
