Car Wash Technician - 3253

PVA IS NOW HIRING AN EXPERIENCED CAR WASH TECHNICIAN!

We are now hiring an experienced Car Wash Technician to work safely to meet the individual needs of the customer, ensuring that they are confident in the safety of their vehicle. PVA is seeking reliable individuals with a growth mentality, committed to customer satisfaction. This role does not require automotive experience, but customer service/sales experience are preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• This role involves performing daily operational practices, ensuring the efficient operation of the facility
• Providing exceptional customer service and support in a timely and professional manner
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently, guiding cars into the wash tunnel with attention to detail.  Ability to train part-time employees to do the same
• Conducting visual inspections of vehicles before sending them through the wash tunnel to ensure high-quality results
• Maintaining all equipment and chemicals in proper working order, adhering to safety protocols
• Sending daily, weekly, monthly reports to company headquarters
• Performing regular maintenance on equipment to guarantee optimal performance and longevity
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote productivity and efficiency
• Perform regular maintenance on car wash equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Maintain chain and dolly systems, and belt maintenance
• Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and efficient problem-solving
• Work collaboratively with the team to support the overall customer service experience

Requirements:

• Must have previous car wash experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Dedication to following safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
• Have a positive and friendly attitude to thrive in customer support, team settings and individually.
• Willingness to undergo on the job training and a growth mindset.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, crawl, and climb stairs.
• Comfortable working in an enclosed and/or semi-outdoor environment.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications And Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License strongly preferred.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking.
