Your Role:

As the Head of Operations, you’ll lead, inspire, and support our SEO teams to deliver world-class campaigns that achieve client goals and drive business growth. You’ll oversee team performance, ensure quality outcomes, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.

This role is all about leadership – guiding team leaders, managing resources, and removing barriers so our SEO Specialists can thrive. You’ll also play a key role in recruitment, client retention, reporting, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to;

• Lead, coach, and mentor SEO Team Leaders to achieve agreed goals and KPIs.
• Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of SEO Specialists.
• Manage workload allocation and ensure teams are operating at optimal capacity.
• Collaborate with SEO leaders to deliver exceptional client service and retention.
• Report on performance, wins, and challenges to the General Manager.
• Drive performance management processes, including reviews and succession planning.
• Implement systems, processes, and software to improve efficiency and visibility.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture aligned with StudioHawk’s values.
• Manage workload allocation and resourcing for the SEO team.
• Own the SEO team P&L.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 4-6 years experience in an SEO or digital marketing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or IT is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in team leadership and management.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Experience managing budgets and KPIs.
• Hands-on knowledge of platforms like SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• Passionate about growth – both personal and professional.

Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000 (excluding superannuation).
