Production Team Leader

About The Role

One of Australia's iconic brands is growing again. The Dulux Acratex business is looking for an individual who is equally comfortable being part of a small team and working independently. If you are eager to be a part of a growing business and to take on new opportunities, we are looking to train up a new permanent dayshift leading hand to work at our Epping cement render plant.  

Responsibilities

• Accountability for shift supervision and leading of production targets for Manufacturing, Filling and Pre-Weigh areas.
• Supporting safety-oriented process to follow DuluxGroup’s Fatality Prevention and Injury Prevention Protocols.
• Ensure products are made to ISO9001 standards and all required testing is completed.
• Complete day-to-day decision making and problem-solving
• Support under the production supervisor ongoing continuous improvement activities

Skills & Experience

• Strong team leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and effective communication.
• Highly process-driven with a proactive approach to task execution and continuous improvement.
• Dedicated to maintaining a safe, harm-free work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Physically capable of safely lifting up to 25kgs and performing manual handling tasks.
• Valid Forklift Licence with demonstrated experience in safe operation and load management.
