Strategic EHS Leadership
- Lead corporate EHS strategy across multiple sites ensuring regulatory compliance and safety culture.
- Harmonize EHS policies and practices across locations.
- Drive a ZERO injury/environmental stewardship culture.
- Implement and audit PSM elements per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119.
- Conduct advanced hazard analyses (HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA).
- Lead mechanical integrity programs and incident investigations.
- Conduct internal and external audits, risk assessments, and inspections.
- Ensure documentation readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Submit statutory reports and renew licenses on time.
- Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and layouts for safety risks.
- Oversee chemical safety testing and integrate findings into risk assessments.
- Implement engineering controls for hazardous materials.
- Deliver safety induction, mock drills, and structured training programs.
- Build EHS competency across teams and contractors.
- Work with Engineering, QA/QC, R&D, and Manufacturing to embed EHS in operations.
- Influence project teams to adopt inherently safer designs.
- Provide dashboards and reports on EHS performance to senior leadership.
- Track leading/lagging indicators and risk trends.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, OSHA, ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001)
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Familiarity with fire safety systems, PPE management, and emergency planning
Experience Required: 10–11 years in EHS, preferably in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing
