About Nourish
The Nourish Program is designed to engage young people who are at risk of facing lifelong disengagement from education, training and employment. Offering more than hospitality skills, it creates hope, opportunity and supported pathways for young people.
The primary role of the Nourish Lead Trainer is to manage all aspects of the Nourish Program in Adelaide and to coordinate the program in line with current OzHarvest practices, procedures and program aims.
The Successful Candidate Can Demonstrate:
- Dedication to support young people facing barriers to education and employment
- Proven success in program management and facilitation
- Excellent skills in leading people and working with diverse stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills with participants, volunteers and team members
- A flexible and adaptable approach to problem solving and troubleshooting
The requirements of this role are:
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment: TAE40116 or TAE40110 and the following two units of competency: TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills, TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools.
- Relevant qualification and experience in commercial cookery – Minimum Certificate II in Cookery or equivalent
- A passion for working with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A deep commitment to OzHarvest’s purpose and values
