We are looking for a highly organised, friendly, and passionate Graphic Designer who is ready to support with graphic design across the Charity.

Share the Dignity is passionate about our work helping women, girls and people who have a period who are in need and eliminating period poverty in Australia. As a young charity (10 years old), there are still so many ways to grow and improve what we do – and we are looking for people who would relish the challenge of being a part of this phase.

The Graphic Designer will report to our Giving, Communications and Events Manager and work closely with our Giving, Communications and Events team. This role will be fast-paced, exciting and rewarding!

In this full-time role you will have responsibility for:

  • Produce engaging visuals, graphic design and rich media work that is effective, inspiring and creative whilst adhering to guidelines and specific briefs
  • Explore creating animated tiles and reels for social media
  • Understand and apply brand guidelines with the view to always be evolving these
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques, and actively contribute ideas to enhance design assets and processes
  • Adhere to the graphic design schedule to meet strict deadlines and ensure efficiency and an organised, prioritised workflow
  • Participate in creative brainstorming to inform design concepts
  • Support the Giving, Communications and Events team on tasks, creative projects, and activities as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders including providing status updates, sharing up to date information, reporting and data distribution and answering questions
  • Create and update project plans and workflows

Being adaptable, flexible and responsive to changing circumstances is a must. As is your ability to establish warm and respectful relationships with all stakeholders of Share the Dignity.

To be a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Recognised qualification in graphic design or similar field together with relevant experience, or demonstrated previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools
  • A solid understanding of user interfaces and digital technologies
  • Good understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design concepts
  • Portfolio to showcase your creative design skills
  • Ability to keep within timeframes/deadlines and prioritise effectively to ensure individual and team success
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit environment is desirable
