Description
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the complete user lifecycle on the Tango platform, from new user acquisition to activation, engagement, and conversion.
- Identify key friction points and opportunities for improvement within the user funnel.
- Work closely with the Product and Growth teams to define, test, and implement features and marketing initiatives that improve key conversion metrics.
- Lead the GTM strategy and execution for new features, products, and platform updates.
- Develop compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audiences, ensuring it is consistent across all marketing channels.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to define and refine user personas and segments.
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns and messaging for specific user segments (e.g., new creators vs. loyal viewers, users in different regions).
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user conversion, retention, and engagement.
- Analyze campaign performance and user data to derive actionable insights and inform future strategies.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the voice of the user within product development discussions.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Growth teams to influence the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives that have the greatest impact on user conversion.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, or a similar role in a tech company (consumer-facing preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience using data to drive decision-making (SQL and analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar – an advantage).
- Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies for new features or products.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize user funnels and improve conversion, engagement, and retention metrics.
- Excellent understanding of user segmentation, targeting, and persona development.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
- Creative thinker with the ability to craft compelling positioning and messaging.
- Comfortable presenting findings and strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
