DevOps Team Lead

Description

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Team Leader to guide and support a team of highly experienced DevOps engineers. This position requires strong technical proficiency in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation, combined with effective leadership, planning, and cross-functional coordination.

You will be responsible for setting direction, prioritizing work, ensuring operational excellence, and actively contributing to the design and evolution of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate is someone who is technically strong, highly organized, and capable of aligning DevOps initiatives with broader company goals.

About The Postion

• Lead a team of senior DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration, growth, and high standards.
• Drive the technical roadmap for infrastructure, automation, security, and reliability.
• Oversee and participate in the design, implementation, and management of cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Guide Infrastructure as Code development using Terraform and Ansible, and maintain modern deployment practices with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Own the DevOps lifecycle: from CI/CD automation to monitoring, incident response, cost optimization, and compliance readiness.
• Collaborate with software engineering, product, and security teams to ensure DevOps best practices are integrated across the stack.
• Coordinate and manage team priorities, execution timelines, and project deliverables.
• Lead incident response processes, perform root cause analysis, and drive follow-up actions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or SRE roles.
• 2+ years in a leadership or technical management role.
• Deep, practical experience with AWS and/or GCP, including compute, networking, IAM, and security.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for infrastructure scripting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to work across teams.
• Experience operating and supporting production-grade environments with high availability and observability.

Nice-To-Have:

• Experience working in compliance-driven environments (SOC2, ISO27001, FedRAMP).
• Familiarity with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, FluxCD).
• Experience leading infrastructure initiatives in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Certifications in AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
