The Role

As part of our growing Brisbane team, you will:

  • Produce accurate civil drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and consultants to ensure plans are accurate and integrated
  • Interpret specifications and engineering documentation to deliver practical, compliant designs
  • Conduct site inspections and incorporate findings into design updates
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and compliance in all drafting outputs
  • Manage drawing files, version control, and documentation workflows
  • Contribute to design reports, cost estimates, and supporting project documentation
  • Stay current with industry standards, modelling techniques, and relevant legislation
  • Mentor junior drafters and support drafting teams across STP offices
  • Contribute to improving drafting systems, tools, and processes

About You

We are looking for a skilled, proactive and detail-focused draftsperson who takes pride in delivering quality work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of civil drafting experience, preferably within a consulting environment
  • An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent in Civil Engineering/Drafting
  • Strong AutoCAD skills and the ability to interpret engineering documentation
  • Knowledge of local and statutory requirements, Australian Standards, and relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and contribute positively to team outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy, document control, and drafting standards
  • Full Australian work rights
