What you will experience in this position:
Strategic Leadership
• Lead our UK & I Channel business, focusing on strategy, revenue, and margin growth
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with specifying engineers, effectively presenting our products, solutions, and services from the conceptual phase through to project completion
• Develop a roadmap for market share expansion in heat trace, snow melting, de-icing, floor heating, and leak detection
• Implement the Chemelex Thermal Strategy and Growth Initiatives regionally
• Analyze the market to identify gaps and conflicts among suppliers, intermediaries, and end-users
• Share market trends and refine channel strategy
• Operate within our global matrix organization
Leadership Skills
• Lead and develop your sales team by setting clear goals and expectations
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Provide regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to help your team excel
Account Management
• Lead the sales team to develop networks and improve market coverage
• Create annual plans for major clients, set targets, and devise growth strategies
• Coordinate promotions, pricing, rebates, and marketing activities
• Build strong relationships with distributors and partners
• Support demand generation by targeting key accounts and conducting seminars and visits
• Review business quarterly and adjust strategies to meet yearly targets
• Improve heat-tracing knowledge among industry professionals
• Build partnerships with key players to foster co-innovation and anticipate market changes
Customer-Centric Growth Execution
• Regularly interact with key customers, partners, and prospects to identify needs and trends for growth plans
• Integrate customer feedback into offerings, market strategies, and product development
• Act as executive sponsor for major accounts and breakthrough deals
You have:
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience and success in specification sales (minimum 5-years) within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong technical competence with strong capability to understand and explain sophisticated engineering concepts
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Successful leadership in business growth through strategic initiatives, product/market expansion, or ecosystem development
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
• A valid driver's license
Skills and Abilities
• Extensive industry network and knowledge
• Experience in influencing and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Strategic thinker with the capability to translate vision into actionable plans
• Effective communicator with executive leadership and across technical and commercial functions
• Ability to train, influence, and present based on comprehensive knowledge of industrial products and applications; recognized as a Subject Matter Expert
