The A/V engineer plays a crucial role in designing, configuring, and maintaining systems such as microphones and control systems for broadcasts and mass communications. The A/V Engineers are responsible for the design, installation and configuration of multimedia technologies of our customers. They may also be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining these systems.

Essential Functions
• Internalizing design, labor and processes for ongoing and upcoming A/V Projects
• Ensuring that A/V hardware and software is designed to meet the needs of the customer
• Offering Presales support to our staff and customers
• Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware and software
• Producing and updating project documentation and preparing As-Builts for deliverables to customers
• Cabling and wiring design to support the technologies proposed to customer
• Field installation, as well as installation support to others will be required
• Other relative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing specific experience desired: Atlas IED, Audio Enhancement or similar manufacturers Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Competence with comprehensive audio solutions and broadcasting systems
• Expertise in processing control, routing, and audio video signal flow with broadcast software
• Understanding A/V technologies and IT systems on a technical level
• Awareness of the latest trends, hardware, and features in AV equipment
• Experienced using power tools, such as saws and drills
• Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently
• Interpersonal, delegation, and teamwork skills
• Basic understanding of network topology (associate level)


Physical Demands
This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.

Work Environment
This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
