Business Operations Student Assistant

Position Overview:

The Cyber Florida Operations & Analytics Team seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant to support daily operations and help manage digital workflows. This position offers hands-on experience in office coordination, process management, and data tracking, providing valuable skills transferable to a wide range of disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monitoring and managing reservation systems for shared office resources (e.g., meeting spaces, lockers).
• Review and process reservation requests received through Outlook/Teams and shared mailboxes.
• Track, distribute, and collect physical resources (e.g., locker keys) as needed.
• Support digital workflow management in Smartsheet and assist in capturing usage data for operational analytics.
• Contribute to general operations tasks as assigned, providing flexible support across the team.

Student Learning Outcomes:

• Gain practical experience in operations support and resource management.
• Develop skills in digital workflow tools and analytics from usage data.
• Strengthen communication and organizational skills through real-world applications.

Qualifications:

• Must be a student currently enrolled at USF and in good academic standing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
• Interest in learning process management and data tracking systems (experience with Smartsheet a plus, but not required).
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.
