We are looking for you to join our team as an Administrative Assistant 4 based in Baltimore, MD.
The experienced Administrative Assistant will support the Directors of Quality & Mission Assurance (Q&MA) for the Maritime and Land Systems Sensors (MLSS) and Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC).
As a key member of the Mission Systems Q&MA team, the Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to two division Directors of Q&MA and other team members as needed. The Executive Assistant serves a critical role in coordinating and managing the executive schedule and outreach, meeting arrangements, documentation, and projects.
The ideal candidate is experienced, pro-active and highly detailed oriented, with strong communications skills and a knack for relationship building at all levels. This position requires the Executive Assistant to perform advanced administrative duties with exposure to sensitive information necessitating tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. Strong integrity is essential, and the candidate must be comfortable working in a high energy, collaborative, diverse, professional environment.
What you will get to do:
- Interface with all levels of Northrop Grumman leadership, support organizations, and customers.
- Apply organization skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and complex situations, while exercising professional judgement and tact in decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage Q&MA Director schedules by planning and scheduling meetings, prioritizing functions and appointments; ensure that meetings, deadlines, presentations, and logistics are handled seamlessly; ability to re-work and de-conflict calendar schedule and identify knowledgeable individuals to attend meetings on behalf of the QMA Directors for MLSS and NGMC
- Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality.
- Support meeting agendas and arrange necessary travel and accommodations. Prepare expense reports.
- Screen incoming requests; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring to the appropriate staff.
- Research, collect and analyze information as needed.
- Assist in preparing and managing presentations.
- Work closely with other senior executives to coordinate and submit weekly reports.
- Partner with Business Operations manager to ensure effective and seamless business operations to include managing Linthicum campus site meetings, activities and operations.

This position is On-site, located in Linthicum, MD.
Basic Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant 4:
- High school diploma and a minimum of six years additional experience in the administrative professional field or a Bachelor's degree with two or more years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field.
- Experience managing multiple administrative projects and initiatives; experience in supporting a variety of executive levels, management level and administrative support within an organization.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and Excel) and intranet/internet.
- Experience with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system.
- Experience proofreading and correcting documents for grammatical errors.
Preferred Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant 4:
- Experience in Administrative support at the Executive level
- Active DoD Secret clearance
