Job Brief

Our Credit Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Credit/Risk function in assessment and analysis-related tasks, especially by profiling the risk of credit applications assigned by loan officers, as well as by decision-making within the approved mandate.



Key Responsibilities


Credit Assessment & Decisioning

  • Review and analyze credit applications for revolving & large-ticket consumer finance products.
  • Ensuring meticulous attention to detail and strict compliance with TRU’s credit policy.
  • Evaluate applicants’ repayment capacity via in-depth review of financial statements, cash-flow projections, and credit bureau scores (i-Score).
  • Conduct ad-hoc and structured profiling investigations.
  • Recommend approval, rejection, or escalation of applications within your mandate, clearly documenting risk drivers and mitigants.

Qualifications & Skills


Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Credit, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in consumer lending, credit analysis, or financial risk management.
Technical Expertise
  • Proficient in financial statement analysis, cash-flow modeling, and ratio interpretation.
  • Hands-on familiarity with credit bureau platforms and proprietary scoring tools (e.g., i-Score).
  • Solid understanding of Credit principles and applicable regulatory frameworks.
Analytical & Communication Skills
  • Strong decision-making capability with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication — able to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
  • Comfortable presenting to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
