Job Brief
Education & Experience
Our Credit Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Credit/Risk function in assessment and analysis-related tasks, especially by profiling the risk of credit applications assigned by loan officers, as well as by decision-making within the approved mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Assessment & Decisioning
- Review and analyze credit applications for revolving & large-ticket consumer finance products.
- Ensuring meticulous attention to detail and strict compliance with TRU’s credit policy.
- Evaluate applicants’ repayment capacity via in-depth review of financial statements, cash-flow projections, and credit bureau scores (i-Score).
- Conduct ad-hoc and structured profiling investigations.
- Recommend approval, rejection, or escalation of applications within your mandate, clearly documenting risk drivers and mitigants.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Credit, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in consumer lending, credit analysis, or financial risk management.
- Proficient in financial statement analysis, cash-flow modeling, and ratio interpretation.
- Hands-on familiarity with credit bureau platforms and proprietary scoring tools (e.g., i-Score).
- Solid understanding of Credit principles and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Strong decision-making capability with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication — able to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
- Comfortable presenting to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solver with a bias for action.
- High ethical standards and dedication to compliance.
