As a Business Consulting Intern, you will work across multiple solutions and industries, with a specific focus on the Operations & Performance solution. From agile and program management, change enablement, operations transformation, and supply chain management, we help clients define and implement core operating models that align to their business strategy, supported by best-fit technologies. Our methodologies enable continuous performance evaluation and execution of transformation initiatives that unlock lost demand, reduce costs, improve working capital efficiency, and drive EBITDA growth.
You will support client engagements focused on optimizing operational performance and enabling scalable, profitable growth. In this role, we help clients:
- Define and implement core operating models grounded in leading practices and proven methodologies
- Evaluate and improve performance across supply chain, sourcing and procurement, and enterprise planning
- Execute transformation initiatives that drive measurable financial outcomes
- Align operations with strategic goals through technology enablement and process redesign

The intern position offers excellent growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated individuals. As an intern, you will partner with client-focused teams to uncover key insights, reimagine business models, and define strategies that result in clear outcomes. You will work with teams and clients on a day-to-day basis to conduct research and analyze client, competitor, and industry data. You will apply knowledge of business principles and help develop actionable recommendations.

Your day-to-day as an Operations & Performance Intern may include:
As a Business Consulting Intern aligned to our Operations & Performance solution, you will have the opportunity to develop your career through diverse engagements, coaching, and professional learning. You will be responsible for developing core business and consulting skills across a variety of client issues. Your responsibilities may include:
- Support the design and implementation of core operating models that align with clients’ strategic goals
- Analyze operational performance data to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement and produce actionable insights
- Assist in the development and execution of transformation initiatives that drive EBITDA growth, reduce costs, and improve working capital
- Conduct benchmarking and leading practice research to support client recommendations and deepen business acumen
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current-state operations and design future-state processes
- Contribute to enterprise business planning, supply chain optimization, sourcing and procurement strategies, performance improvement initiatives, and transformation initiatives
- Help clients evaluate, select, and execute enabling technologies that support scalable and profitable growth
- Support program and project management activities, including work planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, and risk mitigation across transformation initiatives
- Prepare client deliverables including process maps, operating model frameworks, business cases, and performance dashboards
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to internal teams and client stakeholders
You have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:
- Strong academic performance while pursuing a university degree
- Targeted Majors include but are not limited to: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, Operations Management, or related fields
- Minimum overall and major GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred
- Demonstrated interest in operational strategy, performance improvement, and business transformation
- Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or process modeling software
- Experience (through coursework, internships, or projects) with process mapping, data analysis, or operational assessments
- Proven ability to work in teams and deliver against tight deadlines in dynamic environments; this may be demonstrated via university projects, internships, self-study, community building, or work experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights in a structured and compelling way
- Intellectual curiosity, and motivation to develop professionally, including industry recognized professional certifications
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges
- Ability to remain agile, work in ambiguous environments, “can-do” attitude
