Technology Lead

Ford is implementing SAP S4 HANA based ERP programs across multiple skill teams, which will modernize, improve productivity, reduce the size and complexity of Ford's technical footprint, emphasize differentiating capabilities, and to transform and standardize its business processes. This position will be part of the Foundational Products group in SAP Enterprise Platform Organization and this team is responsible to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using SAP ABAP programming and BTP JAVA / Node.js  Cloud Application Programming.

What you’ll be able to do:

• Should be able to play both product manager and anchor roles for the Enhancements-Foundational product team under - SAP Enterprise Platform Organization.
• Responsible for managing a team of SAP (S4 HANA) ABAP developers to handle all ABAP customizations, Workflows, Forms, and Fiori apps required in the I-ERP program.
• Responsible for all Agile ceremonies such as Daily stand-up, Backlog grooming, Iteration planning, Program Increment planning, Retrospective, etc.
• Responsible for capacity planning based on demand and take care of Operations review for each iteration based on SDP metrics and Basecamp expedition target.
• Responsible for identifying risks proactively and work on planning and executing mitigation plans.
• Responsible for working with solution architecture team to comply and align with solution approach for all SAP ABAP customization requirements and track fit-gap metrics target at program level.
• Responsible for reviewing design and code and ensure reusability is factored by all developers during the design and code development and track review metrics
• Responsible to work with other product managers and gather requirements and plan backlog grooming.
• Responsible to lead change management activities pertaining to the product team.
• Responsible for supporting and coordinating various SAP hand-over and launch activities for the product team.
• Responsible for leading the CoE group to  ensure standards and best practices are followed and work with fellow anchors to strengthen the review process leading to an effective and sustainable solution.
• Responsible for ensuring all defects and production incidents are resolved by the team in a timely manner per the defined SLA.
• Responsible to drive efficiency and innovations through Automation and Tech/Process improvements and build AI capabilities and functionalities  with focus on Efficiency & quality.
• Qualifications for Internal Candidates
• Candidate should have prior product management experience in an Agile project/program.
• Candidate must have strong functional skills and should be able to work with global IT Teams / Business customers.
• Working knowledge of an ERP product, preferably SAP.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
• Experience in using Jira tool.
• Ability to quickly and accurately scope requirements/develop solid estimates and interpret ambiguous data.
• Ability to adapt and mentor team members of varying experience levels.
• Willingness to learn the technology and hands-on work, when required.
• Strong customer mindset and ability to develop customer relationships.
• Ability to manage workload, time, and prioritization of tasks across competing workstreams and stakeholders.
