Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Performance Architect with 12 to 15 years of experience in performance engineering and architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performing systems and leading performance initiatives across enterprise applications. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive performance architecture strategies across large-scale applications.
- Lead performance engineering efforts from requirement gathering to implementation and optimization.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure performance goals are met.
- Conduct capacity planning, workload modeling, and performance risk assessments.
- Design and implement performance test frameworks and automation strategies.
- Analyze performance test results and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
- Guide teams in tuning applications, databases, and infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Establish performance benchmarks and SLAs for critical business applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to performance testers and engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12 to 15 years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
- Strong expertise in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, K6, NeoLoad).
- Proficient in performance monitoring and APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).
- Deep understanding of system architecture, including web, application, and database layers.
- Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into DevOps workflows.
- Solid understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance initiatives.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strategic mindset.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in retail/e-commerce domain is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and service mesh.
- Exposure to observability frameworks and telemetry data analysis.
- Certification in performance testing or cloud architecture is an advantage.
