How will you make an impact in this role?

This temporary role is designed for those ready to take the next step in their career, offering hands-on leadership exposure and the chance to contribute to coaching, development, and continuous improvement across Corporate Client Credit.

Role Description:

The Team Captain Will:

  • Partner with Team Leaders and Risk Partners to provide on-site coaching and development
  • Drive customer-first resolutions and support new hire training
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate closely with the GSI team
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Corporate Client space

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Corporate Client experience (SME level)
  • Strong knowledge of CHC
  • Ability to multi-task and manage large volumes of information under tight deadlines
  • Skilled in CSP, Credit Query, ROP, and other corporate tools
  • Understanding of all functions within Corporate Client
  • Excellent verbal/written communication (grammar, word usage, pronunciation, clarity)
  • Strong listening & relationship-building skills
  • Effective decision-making & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to de-escalate calls and provide constructive feedback
  • Strong computer/system skills (MS Office, CSP, SPEECHMINER)
  • Flexibility in hours/days to maximize support
  • Team Leader Endorsement (mandatory)

Additional Details:

  • Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM MST (11:30-8 MST)
  • Work Model: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH)
  • Duration: Temporary role (6-12 months)
  • Incentive Plan: 3-month average

Minimum Qualifications

 

AXP employees will maintain their current salary and may be eligible for a completion bonus at the end of the temporary work assignment. The completion bonus is up to 5% base salary for laterals in band and up to 10% base salary for stretch assignments. The completion bonus amount will also be pro-rated to reflect the length of the assignment.
