Job Summary

For the Bakery & Bars Application team in Brabrand, we are seeking an Application Specialist to assist us in servicing our external and internal customers. You will be part of the Bakery team based in Brabrand, Denmark - with an excellent category team and global knowledge sharing allowing us to challenge what’s possible and what will be the preferred Bakery solutions in the future.

Where You’Ll Make A Difference

• Provide expert technical support to industrial bakery customers and improver houses across EMEA.
• Lead and execute customer-related tasks in close collaboration with internal teams.
• Design, conduct, and follow up on trials and projects both internally and at customer facilities.
• Create detailed technical documentation and reports to support project outcomes.
• Develop innovative application solutions aligned with strategic goals and market trends.
• Train customers and colleagues in application techniques and related processes.
• Support R&D initiatives, including contributions to patents and product development.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Actively participate in knowledge-sharing activities across IFF.

What Makes You The Right Fit

• M.Sc. or equivalent in a relevant field, with several years of experience in the Bakery/Food Industry.
• Proven track record in the bakery sector with strong technical and practical expertise.
• Solid understanding of nutrition, food chemistry, and ingredient functionality.
• Hands-on experience with food manufacturing processes, pilot plants, and analytical techniques.
• Commercial awareness combined with comprehensive technical insights.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and well-organized with a structured working style.
• Curious and creative mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in teaching and training others.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Willingness to travel internationally (30–40 working days/year) across EMEA.
• Professional-level English and strong IT proficiency.
