Your Role

As the Manager, Technical Services within the Enterprise Applications & Cloud (EAC) team, you’ll lead governance, compliance, and reporting initiatives that support the strategic and operational excellence of our cloud and application services. This role is instrumental in driving transparency, financial stewardship, and informed decision-making across EAC platforms.

Key Responsibilities

This role may evolve to meet organisational needs and includes:

Cloud & Application Governance & Compliance
  • Maintain and enhance governance frameworks including ownership, lifecycle, and compliance registers
  • Coordinate and report on governance activities such as attestations, risk assessments, and control testing
  • Collaborate with D&I, security, risk, and compliance teams to enforce governance frameworks (e.g., FinOps, policy as code)
  • Support lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and vendor coordination of key EAC platforms
  • Assist with audit-related activities including NIST, GS007, and control self-assessments
Cost Management & Optimisation
  • Analyse cloud usage and costs, recommending cost-saving strategies
  • Partner with finance and procurement for budgeting, forecasting, and contract reviews
  • Ensure proactive engagement on contract renewals with Vendor Success and Procurement teams
  • Report on staff utilisation, contractor billing, and cost centre performance
Reporting & Analytics
  • Consolidate reporting and trend analysis across risk, ITSM, and security
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI or cloud-native platforms
  • Integrate third-party partner dashboards where necessary
Process Improvement & Support
  • Identify opportunities to streamline governance processes and enhance automation
  • Assist in the development and rollout of governance tooling and dashboards
About You

  • Has experience in application governance, vendor management, and operational reporting
  • Brings financial acumen and FinOps technical expertise
  • Communicates effectively with strong visual presentation and summarisation skills
  • Is results-focused and outcome-driven
