The Opportunity
Join the UK's market-leading Industrial & Logistics (I&L) agency team at a pivotal moment for the sector. Based in our Midlands office, you will be positioned at the heart of the UK's "Golden Triangle", a region central to national supply chains and distribution networks.
This is a career-defining role for a recently qualified and ambitious surveyor looking to specialise in one of commercial real estate's most dynamic and fast-paced markets. You'll work with a highly successful and collaborative team, advising a prestigious client base of institutional landlords, developers, corporate occupiers, and investors on a wide range of agency matters.
What this job involves
As a key member of the team, your primary focus will be on the disposal and acquisition of industrial and logistics properties across the Midlands. You will develop an expert understanding of the market, build lasting client relationships, and contribute directly to the team's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Disposals:Managing the marketing and leasing/sale of industrial and logistics assets, from initial instruction through to completion. This includes preparing marketing materials, preparing schedules, conducting viewings, negotiating heads of terms, and liaising with solicitors
- Acquisitions:Assisting occupier clients in identifying and securing suitable properties that meet their operational needs, including site searches, shortlisting, and negotiating favourable terms
- Market Intelligence:Actively tracking deals, availability, and occupier requirements to become a recognised expert in the Midlands I&L market
- Client Advisory:Providing informed, strategic advice to clients on rental values, market conditions, and marketing strategies to help them achieve their real estate objectives
- Business Development:Identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships with potential clients and counterparts through networking and industry engagement.
- Reporting:Preparing and presenting regular client reports, pitch documents, and marketing collateral with a high degree of professionalism.
The person we're looking for
We're seeking a proactive, commercially-minded individual who has recently achieved their MRICS qualification. You should have a foundational understanding of commercial property agency and a genuine passion for the industrial and logistics sector.
Essential Criteria
- MRICS qualified
- Demonstrable experience in commercial property, ideally with some exposure to the industrial sector
- A strong desire to build a career in agency and a drive to close deals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Full UK driving license
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects
