Commercial IT Operations Specialist

Join our Commercial IT team in a newly established role focused on supporting our Global (ex-US) operations.

You will play a key part in driving the implementation of our Commercial IT roadmap across systems such as Veeva CRM, Veeva PromoMats, and marketing technologies. This role is central to managing and executing operational tasks across the entire commercial ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities

• System Launches & Projects: Drive the technical implementation of new systems and the expansion of existing systems into new countries
• System Configuration: Handle day-to-day tasks related to project implementations and operations, including user and license management, in alignment with our system management framework
• Governance: Drive governance processes, change management, and operating models to ensure they are embedded in daily collaboration between Commercial IT and the business
• Architecture: Ensure architectural standards are followed across all projects. Coordinate with relevant teams to assess impact and manage required changes
• Operations: Oversee and execute operational tasks across the ecosystem, including change requests, issue resolution, defect handling, and release management
• Vendor Management: Manage vendors on a day-to-day basis in relation to specific projects and operational needs

Your Qualifications

• A relevant educational background (minimum a bachelor’s degree), ideally within Commercial or IT. We are open to diverse academic profiles if supported by relevant experience
• Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
• 3-5 years experience with one or more of the systems used in our commercial ecosystem (e.g., Veeva CRM, Veeva PromoMats, marketing platforms). You are not expected to have experience with all of them
• Strong technical foundation and cross-functional understanding of business processes
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Highly adaptable and comfortable with change
• Experienced in managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Enjoy working across a variety of applications rather than specializing in just one
• Enjoy communicating and collaborating with colleagues in the team and stakeholder in the Commercial Organization
• The role is not off shore, so preferred location would be Greater Copenhagen area

Who You Are

The overall IT Department consists of app. 75 employees and most colleagues are located out of our HQ office in Hellerup. We also have people located at our production sites and the bigger country offices.

The overall IT Department is divided into 6 sub departments, where one is the department of COPDA (Commercial, Production and DnA) with currently 11 colleagues and a number of external consultants. COPDA is responsible for the Commercial Platforms (CRM, PromoMats etc.), Production Area  (Applications and related equipment) and Data & AI (Data Modeling, AI etc.)

You will be part of the Commercial Platform team together with 3 colleagues.

You will report to Director, COPDA/Global IT.
