As a Senior Product Associate in Account Opening Acquisitions – Application Processing, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Our product team focuses on processing applications and opening accounts on digital channels for Products of Consumer Bank, Business Bank, Wealth Management, Lending ,Auto/Non-Card, and Credit Card. Our product services send customer application data to the appropriate LOB system of record (SOR) to open accounts for JPMorgan Chase products – checking, savings, investment accounts and loan are examples. On the account fulfillment side, if an application is successfully opened, we set and sync customer digital profile default settings and alerts while assuring welcome communications for the new account are sent to the customer. Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development and maintains Jira hygiene
- Creates data mapping to understand impact of values and assure key info is included in service data transfer and key documents
- Assists with onboarding new services to data stores and track operational health to identify opportunities for improvement
- Consistently outlines and execute continuous improvement across the Account Opening environment
- Defines acceptance test criteria in JIRA and define the automated test using BDD or TDD approach
- Creates test data for automated test execution
- Creates diagrams: Class diagram, Sequence Diagram and Flow/Activity Diagram in Confluence, VISIO or similar tools
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Experience using Agile and JIRA toolkit for product delivery
- Demonstrated ability to convey technically complex ideas in business language
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development companies
- Minimum 2 years Financial Technology experience with data analysis and management
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Business Analyst or Product Manager
- Demonstrated experience writing Agile user stories and creating dashboards
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to forge lasting relationships with the scrum team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
