JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for designing and executing interventions to improve organization performance and advance the organizational strategy.

Reporting to the AVC, Talent Acquisition and Performance, will lead areas such as executive leadership development, succession planning, and change management; and support areas such as project management, process improvement, strategic planning, culture, and leadership and professional development programming.

This position will serve as a leading expert in Organization Development practices for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Consult with Senior Leaders and Talent Engagement Professionals to diagnose barriers to high performance teams and implement appropriate interventions.

Design & Implement Change Management Interventions to ensure business achieves our Strategic Results.

Apply knowledge of Organization Design Principles to support leaders in structuring efficient and effective workflows and systems that can deliver on organizational goals.

Work with departments to foster the Ultimate Student Experience by coaching leaders to apply culture management tools to their most pressing organizational issues, concerns, and problems.

Use the consulting process to define the requirements of a given project, develop a work plan, and enlist key partners and stakeholders to achieve the necessary results.

Consult with Senior Leaders to complete various OD related processes.

Craft communications and presentations in support of key deliverables.

Provide coaching and guidance to upskill our HCC Community on best in class change management, consulting, and organization design methods.

Develop assessment devices, training programs, facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives and review current development programs to ensure adherence to company goals.

Support the implementation of selection tools, standards, policies, and practices.

Perform data analyses using multiple methods including Excel to measure progress and ROI of OD strategies and programs.

Conduct research on best practices in OD, leadership and professional development and talent management, and provide recommendations around best practices and business application.

Own the goal of establishing Houston Community College’s human capital as critical component of accomplishing organizational goals.

Responsible for continually building Houston Community College’s stock of human capital and encouraging employee development.

Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Talent Management, Business Administration or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years’ experience completing job analysis, performance management/appraisals and data analysis required

Licensing & Certification

  • Valid Texas Driver License

Working Conditions
General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
