The Domain Business Analyst will partner with senior stakeholders and technology leaders to scope, shape, and deliver pragmatic solutions that meet business needs and drive strategic outcomes at Heathrow. The role will lead business analysis activity across a domain, setting standards, mentoring analysts, and ensuring high-quality, consistent deliverables.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business drivers, develop requirements, and influence decision-making.
- Lead a virtual business analysis team, collaborating with Heads of Technology, Senior Delivery Leads, and Delivery Leads.
- Provide business analysis services including pre-project shaping, operating model definition, and requirements management.
- Set and continually improve BA standards, processes, and templates, ensuring they are practical and fit for purpose.
- Mentor, manage, and direct Heathrow and supplier business analysts within the assigned domain.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to shape feasible, pragmatic technology solutions.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and reuse of BA deliverables (requirements, benefits, use cases, business cases).
- Support Delivery Leads in the production of gateway deliverables.
- Apply a wide range of BA techniques to capture and manage requirements, and document as-is/to-be states with traceability.
- Maintain Heathrow’s in-house business analysis knowledge base to ensure continuity across programmes and projects.
- Degree educated (or equivalent).
- BCS or IIBA Business Analysis certifications.
- Significant experience in requirements and analysis within large-scale and/or multi-project environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret business outcomes and requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation), able to engage diverse groups including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Proven stakeholder and relationship management experience; confident in challenging and influencing decisions.
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of airport business and airline processes is highly desirable.
- Experience using Azure DevOps and Modern Requirements tooling is desirable.

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
