Job Description

QC Chemist requires skills in both practical and theoretical analytical chemistry

The role is primarily laboratory based, conducting analysis on existing products and devising and implementing analytical methods for new products.

A particular focus is driving improvement to the overall QC process and to our existing methods with a view to increasing reproducibility, increasing throughput, increasing sensitivity and reducing analysis costs.

Perform timely analysis of intermediates and final products. Perform prescribed quality assessment of products using techniques such as HPLC, LCMS, DNA Synthesis Tests, Karl Fischer, Titration and more for the analysis  of intermediates and final products.
Optimise processes, equipment efficiency and maximise customer service.

Accurately follow established protocols to satisfy customer quality agreements Complete and maintain, legible and timely laboratory records (QCS) Participate in relevant Risk Assessment Maintain Lab area and records to audit readiness at all times

Qualifications

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry
• Associate degree in chemistry with 1-2 years relevant laboratory experience (Including placement)
