Job Description
The Equipment Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality of equipment bought by the project (int/ext suppliers), ensuring that all equipment complies with quality standards and specifications.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Assess criticality of items, assign surveillance levels, and manage Inspection and Test Plans documents (ITPs) from suppliers (int/ext)
- Organize, coordinate and participate to Final Acceptance Tests (FAT) at supplier sites and any other inspections
- Oversee inspection processes, manage snags & non-conformities, inspection reports and ensure quality compliance before shipment
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and engineering departments on quality and procurement plans
- Actively participate to the equipment procurement Gate reviews
- Maintain quality and testing documentation from suppliers, including ITPs, test reports, FAT records and Final Inspection Report
- Monitor supplier performance against quality standards and implement corrective actions
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field
- Ability to communicate (speak and write) in English, German & Polish language are a plus
- Experience in supplier quality and/or quality activities. EPC Project experience is a plus
- Technical knowledge of HV equipment would be an asset
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- In-depth understanding of quality standards and equipment procurement requirements
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Working in a multi-international team
