This includes knowledge of various OHV components to suit electrical mining OHV, wheel motors, alternators and associated components.

  • Market Awareness: Knowledge of the mining industry, including trends, key players, competitors, and market demands. Staying updated on technological advancements in OHV mining components and their impact on sales strategies helps tailor offerings to meet evolving client needs.
  • Negotiation and Closing Skills: Strong negotiation skills to facilitate discussions around pricing, features, and contract terms. The ability to secure beneficial agreements while maintaining customer satisfaction is key to long-term success in technical sales.
  • Maintenance and Overhaul Procedures: Understanding of systematic inspection, diagnosis, teardown, repair, refurbishment, reassembly, and quality assurance processes for mining machinery components.
  • Workshop Practices: Knowledge of workshop safety protocols, equipment handling, precision measurements, use of specialised tools and machinery, and application of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Problem Solving and Technical Support: Ability to diagnose client issues related to OHV components and provide effective solutions. This includes collaborating with technical teams to address complex customer inquiries and support installations or technical product reviews.
