Supporting the delivery of effective multi-agency safeguarding arrangements
At the heart of Lancashire’s safeguarding partnerships are the people who make a difference every day. As a Coordinator within the LSBU, you’ll work alongside passionate professionals across children’s and adult safeguarding, health, police, and local authority services. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values diverse perspectives and is committed to improving outcomes for children, families, and vulnerable adults.
This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of the Children’s Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP), Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB), and the Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP). You’ll coordinate governance activity, manage safeguarding reviews, analyse data, and help shape policy and practice across Lancashire.
Can you do it?
The answer is yes if you are someone who thrives in multi-agency environments, builds strong relationships, and brings energy and integrity to everything they do. If you’re driven by person-centred practice and have experience in safeguarding coordination, case reviews, or partnership working — we’d love to hear from you.
Your work will ensure that the voice and lived experience of children, young people, families, and vulnerable adults are embedded in everything we do. You’ll help drive continuous improvement, support inspection readiness, and contribute to a culture of learning and evidence-based practice.
Enjoy a future that’s as purposeful as ours….
We’re proud of our values — Supportive, Innovative, Respectful, Collaborative — and we live them every day. As a Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality safeguarding services that make a real impact. You’ll be part of a team that’s ambitious, forward-thinking, and committed to excellence.
This is more than a job — it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful, where your skills and insights will help shape safer communities across Lancashire.
