Tesco Ireland is currently seeking to recruit a Customer strategy and growth manager with strong influencing, strategic thinking and project management skills. This cross-functional role develops, implements and monitors strategies to retain existing customers and drive growth opportunities across the Tesco Ireland ecosystem by understanding customer trends, behaviours and data to improve satisfaction, loyalty and revenue. Working closely with all members of the marketing team (Ireland, Group and UK) as well as external agency partners and internal stakeholders.

- Strategy development: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve customer engagement, satisfaction and loyalty to drive growth.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Chair weekly cross-functional trade driving forum where strategy development through to execution and evaluation is managed across marketing, product, finance and operations teams.
- Retail media growth: Work closely with dunnhumby and the product team to develop and manage retail media growth pipeline.
- Marketing planning: Operating as the marketing planner for Tesco Ireland with ownership of our marketing planning calendar of communications, events and retail media partnerships. Working with the Head of Customer Strategy and Growth to drive the annual marketing planning cycle based on long term plan customer, brand and commercial goals (collaborating closely with the Customer leadership team, business planning and senior stakeholders).
- Customer advocacy: Represent the customer’s voice and perspective internally to ensure customer needs are considered across the business.
- Customer retention: Work closely with the Insights and Clubcard teams to develop and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and foster loyalty.
- Data analysis: Work closely with the customer insights manager to analyse customer data to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks, using these insights to drive strategy.
- Performance monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer growth and satisfaction. Measure and evaluate the results of customer strategy initiatives to optimize their effectiveness.
- Relationship management: Work collaboratively with the other global Tesco markets to share and adopt best practice planning, omnichannel and retail media initiatives from around the world.
- Follows our Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence.
- Relevant 5+ years’ marketing experience
- Primary degree or master’s degree in marketing
- Experience managing large-scale, complex omnichannel projects where both internal and external stakeholders are involved
- Proven track record in data-driven strategy development
- Strong project management skills
- Analytical and data-driven with a firm grasp of commercial impact and ROI
- Understand the current and evolving omnichannel retail landscape, market and competitors
