Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Joining “Team Waipa” in our Transport and Infrastructure business, you will be supporting the Waipa DC Road Maintenance contract, as a Traffic Management Operative (TMO) based in Leamington, Cambridge.

As a Downer TMO, You Will Assist With Temporary Traffic Management Under The Direction Of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Ultimately You Will Work To Ensure The Safety Of Your Crew And The Public Through Clear And Accurate Direction Of Traffic. You Will Also

 

• Help with sign and cone placement and pack down
• Assist with stop/go activity

• Driving Duties

Along with a genuine interest in Traffic Management, you will bring:

 

• A full Class 1 full license
• A valid TMO warrant
• Flexibility to work occasional weekend and night shift at times, as well as performing on-call duties
• Commitment to safe work practises
