We are now looking for a strategic, proactive, and self-driven Master Data Specialist with strong analytical mindset and a meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. You will own the flow of Peak Performance’s product master data end-to-end, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely master data information across Centric PLM, SAP AFS and other downstream systems.
You’ll be joining the Peak Performance Planning team, a cross-functional department partnering with Product, Sourcing, Commercial, Supply & Demand, IT, Finance and Design to secure data readiness for seasonal launches, drive automation and process improvements, and act as the organization’s central data quality authority. You will be instrumental for our team in steering our Master Data to become consistently accurate and complete with minimal errors.
At Peak Performance you’ll be working in a dynamic and global organization, where teamwork and passion are key factors for our success. The position is based at Peak Performance HQ in Stockholm and report to Head of Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data ownership: Coordinate and steer product master data in Centric PLM and related systems; approve data readiness for releases to downstream systems.
- Data governance: Define, implement and enforce master data standards, validation rules, thresholds and governance policies.
- Quality monitoring: Build and maintain data quality rules, automated checks and dashboards; conduct regular audits and report findings.
- System integration: Manage, validate and authorize data flows and interface activations between Centric PLM, SAP AFS and other downstream systems.
- Seasonal readiness: Coordinate and validate data hand-offs and readiness for seasonal launches; oversee new seasonal interface openings.
- Incident management: Organize, prioritize and resolve ad hoc data incidents; perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Process improvement: Design, document and optimize master data processes, calendars and change-trigger workflows tied to the “Assortment Change List”.
- Projects: Take part in long-term improvement projects to optimize data workflows, automate manual tasks, and prepare for future system upgrades
- Stakeholder coordination: Set deadlines, communicate milestones and align cross-functional stakeholders on data requirements and timing.
- Escalation and control: Escalate unresolved data risks to functional heads and exercise authority to halt deployments if data quality thresholds are not met.
Job Requirements:
- 1–3 years of hands-on master data management experience.
- Experience from apparel or retail preferred.
- Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Data Science, or related field.
- PLM and ERP knowledge: Practical experience with PLM systems and familiarity with SAP data flows.
- Technical skills: Strong understanding of system integrations, interfaces, data modelling and validation logic.
- Analytical capability: Ability to define data quality rules, build monitoring dashboards and run root-cause analysis.
- Communication: able to translate business needs into data requirements and influence across functions. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Personal qualities: Structured, proactive, detail-oriented and solution-focused with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Language: Fluent in English, Swedish is a plus.
