Store Supervisor – Culinary

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of kitchen food and supplies to support daily operations.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of stock to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Supervise the organization and cleanliness of storerooms and storage areas in compliance with hygiene standards.
• Label and categorize items systematically for efficient access and tracking.
• Train staff on proper handling, storage and inventory procedures to maintain consistency and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inventory, purchases and usage for reporting and audit purposes.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to align inventory with menu planning and operational needs.
• Support kitchen operations by ensuring timely availability of ingredients and supplies.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in storekeeping, inventory management, or hospitality operations is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or resort kitchen environment.
• Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, and procurement processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with kitchen and procurement teams.
• Ability to lead and train a small team effectively.
• Physically fit to handle stock movement and storage tasks.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
