We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Finance Clerk to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting accounting operations to ensure smooth financial management of the hotel.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Accurate typing of accounting financial reports.
  • Types the monthly financial schedules and any other forms, which relate to the financial statements.
  • Types all contract forms for RFC approval.
  • Perforates all payable vouchers, documents and commission bills as “PAID” when cheques are signed by the Controller.
  • Co-ordinates for the renewal of contracts and lease agreements for the hotel.
  • Co-ordinates for the renewal of insurance policies for the hotel.
  • Opens, reads, sorts and distributes accounting mail to personnel concerned, informing them about matters 

          which require immediate action / attention.

  • Initiates purchase requests and requisitions for office supplies related to the department.
  • Ensures use and maintenance of all office equipment and follow up on their repairs.
  • Arranges and co-ordinates meetings / presentations / telephone calls for the AFC.
  • Handles insurance claims for staff and hotel vehicles.
  • Handle all correspondence & follows up with receiving payments from all travel agencies.

What we need from you

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Love of working in a fast-paced and motivated team with a desire to take the next step in your career
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional administrative and time-management skills
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and learn new things
  • Fluency in English Language and Arabic language, both spoken and written is a must.
  • Upholding ethical standards in handling financial information.
  • Providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
