As our new Part Time Kitchen Attendant, you could be supporting our team to ensure guests enjoy a truly memorable dining experience – whether you’re helping prepare for a large conference banquet or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes for their favourite meal. 

Crowne Plaza Perth is a riverside hotel located in beautiful East Perth with picturesque Langley Park at the doorstep. 

Our Restaurant & Bar, Gusti, is located at the front of the hotel boasting views of the Swan River on the alfresco terrace. On the terrace, visitors can dine under the canopy of the palms with breath-taking views. The Terrace is also a popular location for cocktail functions, weddings or corporate events.

Inside, we offer a crowd-favourite hotel Lobby bar with ample seating types perfect for guests awaiting check in, to those on business calls, and everyone in between. 

Crowne Plaza Perth also offers a choice of meeting spaces which can host up to 80 pax, where we allow guests to meet in confidence.

A little taste of your day-to-day 

We're looking for a Kitchen Attendant to support our kitchen team. On the daily, you'll ensure our kitchen team have all of the required resources and equipment cleaned and ready to use as well as assist the chefs with basic cooking and food preparation, receiving and checking deliveries and managing goods storage, handle and dispose of kitchen waste, as well as moving prepared meals from the pass to the service area.  You will maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, store and delivery areas, ensuring all food safety requirements are met and ultimately enhancing an environment that our guests and colleagues love

What we need from you 

Ideally you’ll have experience in a similar role in a kitchen environment and take real sense of pride in your ability to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and enjoy working in a team environment. You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A positive and enthusiastic approach goes a long way in all aspects of the role. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads while remaining calm. You will wear your uniform with pride and adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards.

You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
