We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Manager to join our Financing and Liquidity Management and Strategy team within Markets . This role is located in New York, NY  

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Support the structure and cadence for leadership meetings, business reviews, and management reporting ensuring that materials are prepared, action items tracked, and outcomes communicated
  • Coordinate with business leaders across BNY Markets and enterprise functions to gather inputs, synthesize updates, and cascade insights through reporting channels
  • Support the Liquidity and Financing Platform Strategy Lead in planning, coordinating, and tracking client-facing activities, including the Global Head’s meetings, relationship deepening efforts, and commercial follow-ups
  • Maintain a centralized view of the Global Head of Liquidity, Financing, and Collateral’s external engagements, including speaking opportunities, conference appearances, and key industry events ensuring all materials and context are prepared in advance
  • Support the execution of strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
  • Track key initiatives and performance indicators across the organization, identify roadblocks, and ensure progress toward deliverables
  • Prepare briefing materials, draft tailored talking points, and build polished, presentation-ready decks for senior leadership
  • Collaborate with business leads to deliver weekly and quarterly management updates, distilling complex information into insights for senior leadership
  • Serve as a connection point across cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and facilitating execution across business lines, support functions, and geographies.
  • Take ownership of ad-hoc strategic projects that cut across the organization, delivering high-impact results beyond the immediate business line. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience required in Finance, Strategy or Consulting 
  • Exceptional presentation skills and experience creating commercial and high-quality decks
  • Ability to self-learn, adapt quickly, and confidently communicate across all levels of the organization is essential
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships and operate in an influential manner with senior executives to assist in driving key initiatives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and managing multiple priorities concurrently
  • Strategic thinker who has an eye for detail, is organized, and can manage multiple initiatives/workstreams simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills are critical for this role. Data / BI skills preferable.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $147,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
