Partners with product manager, data scientists, designers, and other XFN to build and execute work stream strategy.

Mentors and coaches engineers across the team.

Individually designs, develops, modifies, and supports related software applications and features on multiple platforms on Meta.

Highly proficient in software engineering, data analysis, and development standards, and produces high-quality code having high test coverage and modern technology implementations.

Works on problems of moderate to high scope with increasing levels of complexity.

Ideally had prior experience in VR/AR development, or exposure in gaming engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.).

Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field

Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:

C, C++, C#, or Java

Python, PHP, or Haskell

Relational databases and SQL

React / React Native, or Android development

Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)

Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

Building highly-scalable performant solutions

Distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability and

Algorithms

$217,528/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
