The Senior Manager will lead a team to reimagine how training is designed, delivered, and measured. Responsibilities include reducing time-to-proficiency, enhancing learner engagement, and ensuring consistent achievement of quality and productivity goals.
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute a transformation strategy for clinical and coding training programs, focusing on digital innovation, gamification, and learner acceleration.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Quality, HR, and IT to align training initiatives with business outcomes.
- Serve as key advisor and thought partner to decision makers on learning architecture, platform selection, and content strategy.
Team Management & Development
- Manage and mentor a team of clinical and coding trainers, and Content Designer responsible for developing engaging, interactive training content.
- Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure team alignment with instructional design best practices and emerging learning technologies.
Content & Experience Design Oversight
- Guide the team in creating immersive, gamified learning experiences using microlearning, simulations, and adaptive learning paths.
- Ensure content is learner-centric, performance-driven, and scalable across roles and geographies.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of emerging tools to enhance training effectiveness.
Implementation & Change Enablement
- Lead the rollout of new training formats and platforms, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and learner adoption.
- Pilot and iterate new approaches to validate impact and scalability.
- Manage change communication and trainer enablement to support successful transitions.
Measurement & Optimization
- Define KPIs for training effectiveness, speed-to-proficiency, and post-training performance.
- Use data analytics to continuously refine training strategies and content.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in corporate training, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
- Proven success in leading digital learning transformations and managing content development teams.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies (LMS, LXP, gamification platforms).
- Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in performance analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in instructional design, digital learning, or gamification.
- Familiarity with tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Rise, or similar.
- Experience with AI-driven learning, simulation platforms, or immersive technologies.
- Background in healthcare.
