You will manage the calibration and test development activities for camera and depth modules across Reality Labs product portfolio.Camera and Depth Systems Calibration and Test Manager Responsibilities

Lead camera and depth calibration and test and design validation across Reality Labs’ product lines

Manage software development for data collection and analysis

Implement robust statistical data processing to infer system performance

Define and manage the design of calibration and test targets, tester algorithms, tester software, and factory test flow

Manage and mentor calibration and test engineers across Meta sites

create development plans and growth opportunities for engineers

enable and encourage cross-pollination within the team and with external teams in areas of algorithms, software, data analysis and calibration

Deliver both technical and executive level presentations on test methodologies and experimental results to cross-functional teams

Lead development of software and infrastructure for calibration and test, including ground truth methods and factory operations

Advanced degree in Optics, Physics, Image Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline with 7+ years of working experience

5+ years of experience with data processing techniques and signal statistics on physical systems with hands-on knowledge of data analysis software such as Matlab or Python

5+ years of experience developing software for data capture, lab automation, cloud processing, databases, and distributed computing

4+ years of camera or depth system calibration and test

3+ years leading software development projects with cross-functional dependencies in a product development environment

3+ years of experience with free-space optics and experience setting up optical systems for camera and depth testing

3+ years of people management experience, including leading people and projects across cross-functional teams

In-depth knowledge of camera and/or depth systems working principles, including photometry and noise sources in imaging systems

Experience with joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping

Experience and understanding of ML training and evaluation methodologies

In-depth understanding of contemporary camera & depth signal processing pipeline in consumer electronics products

Experience shipping a consumer product into mass production

Calibration and test experience with embedded cameras and/or depth systems, such as cellphone cameras

US$170,000/year to US$240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
