Cloud Consultant, Data and Analytics, Google Cloud (English, Mandarin)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience managing projects, delivering technical solutions/architecture, and developing and maintaining technical solutions in visualized environments.
• Experience in data systems design or explaining data systems interactions, data processing and analytics, common interface APIs.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support clients in this region.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• 7 years of experience in technical client services.
• Experience with reading software code in one or more languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python.
• Experience in designing, deploying and migrating large scale distributed data processing and analytics systems with one or more technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Hadoop, Spark, Teradata, Looker, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
• Experience in database, enterprise data warehouse and data lake deployment and migration in cloud data and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, Gen AI, Agentic AI.

In this role, you will provide management, consulting, and technical capabilities to customer engagements while working with customer executives and technical leaders to deploy solutions via Google Cloud Platform. You possess a background with cloud solutions in areas such as data and analytics architecture design, infrastructure and AI fundamentals, and migration and deployment planning. You will also work with partners, serving accounts to manage programs, deliver consulting services, and provide technical guidance and best practice expertise. You will travel approximately 30% of the time for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver implementations of cloud solutions, becoming a trusted advisor to plan throughout the engagement.
• Work with internal specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
• Interact with Sales, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for client outcomes.
• Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development.
• Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud-based distributed virtualized infrastructure solutions, according to customer requirements and implementation of practices.
