A Brief Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategy Senior Manager to join our Strategy Department as an individual contributor. As a Strategy Senior Manager, you will play a key role in driving the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects. You will be responsible for conducting complex analyses, providing strategic insights, and supporting the execution of the company's strategic goals. Your expertise in strategic planning, business analysis, and project management will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization.

What you will do

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and refine the company's strategic plan. Identify growth opportunities, assess market dynamics, and define strategic priorities.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities. Gather and analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Projects and Initiatives: Lead and support the execution of strategic projects and initiatives. Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, market trends, and industry disruptions. Identify emerging threats and opportunities. Provide recommendations for maintaining a competitive advantage.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives. Evaluate investment opportunities, assess financial feasibility, and develop business cases for new initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input, align objectives, and secure support for strategic initiatives. Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Communications: Assist in the development of strategic communications, including executive presentations, board materials, and other strategic documents. Ensure clear and effective communication of strategic initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement metrics to monitor the progress and impact of strategic initiatives. Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess strategic risks and challenges. Develop mitigation strategies to address potential obstacles and ensure successful execution of initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging strategic frameworks. Contribute to the improvement of strategic planning processes and methodologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred 

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 12+ years experience in strategy development, strategic planning, or related roles. Experience in project management is highly desirable.

  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects from initiation to completion. Ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and deliver high-quality results within deadlines. 
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences. 
  • Collaboration and Influence: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority. 
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques to drive strategic insights. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Flexible mindset to navigate ambiguity and adjust strategies as needed. 
  • Ethical Standards: Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity in all strategic initiatives and decision-making.

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $122,200.00 to $268,900.00.  All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta.  All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
