Envision Unlimited is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as Vice President of Mental Health & Supportive Programs, overseeing a diverse portfolio of clinical, crisis, and community support services across Chicago and Springfield. This role is ideal for a seasoned behavioral health professional with a passion for innovation, equity, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Directors and Supervisors across multiple mental health programs.
- Oversee grant-funded initiatives including the Cultural Faith-Based Program, Drop-In Center, Living Room, Springfield CMHC, and Successful Transitions.
- Drive strategic planning, financial targets, and departmental goals focused on evidence-based practices, regulatory compliance, staff development, and DEI.
- Manage contracts and serve as liaison to funders, ensuring performance benchmarks and fiscal compliance.
- Spearhead marketing strategies, client recruitment, and operational effectiveness.
- Supervise planning and launch of new mental health centers under development.
Functional Expectations
- Ensure licensure and accreditation standards are met.
- Administer program budgets and strategic plans.
- Lead marketing efforts toward third-party payors.
- Develop staff training programs and support managed care integration.
- Monitor data systems and contract performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments and serve on the senior leadership team.
- Cultivate strong relationships with government, insurance, and funding entities.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
- Valid Illinois clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT).
- Minimum 5 years in behavioral health management and 8+ years of progressive leadership experience.
- Proven success in contracts and grants management, program development, and Medicaid systems.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, and evidence-based psychotherapies preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year
- Paid Time Off: 25 vacation days, 12 holidays, 3 sick days, 3 personal days
