About The Role
As a Senior Project Officer, you will manage and coordinate a team to develop, implement and evaluate complex projects that achieve strategic outcomes and organisational priorities. You will provide briefings and advice to a range of stakeholders on emerging issues and support project delivery by establishing and managing plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other priorities.
About You
The successful applicant will have proven experience managing and delivering a range of significant projects ideally focused on environmental or resource management issues. You must exhibit strong communication skills and be confident in supporting, coaching and mentoring team members as well as liaising with diverse stakeholder groups at all levels. You will be committed to delivering results, quality outcomes and building strong relationships across government agencies and other key stakeholders. Your collaborative approach to information sharing and proactive planning will be key to your success in this role, as will an ability to manage multiple competing priorities whilst delivering within agreed timeframes.
Knowledge And Experience
- Experience in a senior project management role, coordinating the successful delivery of project deliverables and objectives.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.
