We are looking for a Senior Innovation Consultant to strengthen our Norwegian team. This role focuses on leading successful funding applications to grant schemes under the Norwegian Research Council, ENOVA and others. You will act as a trusted advisor for clients, managing the entire grant process — from ideation and application to approval and final reporting — while also supporting business development and mentoring colleagues.

Your mission is to secure funding for groundbreaking Norwegian innovation projects by:

• Leading and authoring winning applications to national funding schemes.
• Guiding clients through the full lifecycle of funding projects.
• Building lasting relationships with clients through expertise and commercial drive.
• Supporting the growth of PNO Innovation by sharing knowledge and elevating team performance.

• Identify and assess funding opportunities aligned with clients’ innovation projects.
• Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals to national funding bodies.
• Manage the full grant process, including budgeting, consortium coordination, and reporting.
• Advise clients on funding strategies and positioning to maximize success rates.
• Engage with stakeholders across industry, academia, and government.
• Support business development by building strong client relationships and expanding PNO’s network.
• Share expertise and mentor junior consultants within the team.
• Extensive experience in grant proposal writing, with a proven track record of successful applications.

• Strong familiarity with schemes from the Norwegian Research Council, ENOVA, and related programs.
• Technical/scientific background (engineering, natural sciences, energy, renewables, etc.).
• Master’s degree required, PhD preferred.
• Experience from a research organization, university, or innovative private company.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage and advise clients with confidence.
• Commercial mindset with ability to develop client relationships and win projects.
• Flexibility to also contribute to other national and European schemes if necessary.
• Competitive salary in the range of 850,000 – 1,000,000 NOK, depending on experience.
