We are seeking an experienced Payroll Data Analyst to support the implementation of a new cloud-based payroll solution for BAM UK & lreland on a 12 month fix term contract. This role is integral to the successful delivery of the payroll transformation programme and willwork directly with internal stakeholders and the external payroll software vendor to ensure a seamless transition.
Making Possible
- A critical team member that oversees and ensures the coordinated, accurate, and secure setup and maintenance of payroll-related data across the BAM UK&l Division, supporting the
implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Works closely with HR, Payroll, and lT colleagues, as well as the implementation partner, to ensure that all payroll data objects are correctly migrated, validated, and governed throughout the
programme.
- Engages with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Workforce Software (time & attendance), and Benify (benefits) to ensure payroll data is managed and maintained to an excellent standard to
enable compliant, accurate, and timely payroll processing.
- Support Payroll Data Migration for the implementation of Employee Central Payroll by:
- - ldentifying payroll data objects (e.9., employee master data, pay elements, time & absence data, benefits, pensions, tax, and national insurance).
- - Agreeing cleansing rules with stakeholders (HR, Payroll, Finance).
- - Managing extracts of payroll data for cleansing and transformation.
- - Monitoring cleansing activities for accuracy and progress.
- - Supporting the transformation and mapping of data from legacy payroll systems into ECP.
- - Assistinq with data load execution and reconciliation against legacy systems
- Data Governance & Quality
- Support the implementation of payroll data governance processes and tools.
- - Generate management reports and KPls to validate payroll data integrity and readiness for payroll runs.
- - Support ongoing payroll data quality checks during parallel testing and post-go-live.
- Documentation & Standards
- - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of payroll data management documentation(policies, standards, controls, data dictionaries).
- - Assist with payroll data onboarding processes and ensure compliance with GDPR and HMRC requirements.
- Knowledge Sharing & Support
- - Train HR and Payroll colleagues on payroll data processes and data input standards.
- - Participate in payroll data cleansing and migration projects to improve the quality of BAM payrolldata.
- - Assist the Payroll Programme Data Lead in designing new payroll data processes and procedures.

What Do You Bring To The Role?
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Payroll Data Management
- - Previous experience on payroll or HR system implementation programmes as a Data Migration Specialist, Payroll Analyst, or Business Analyst.
- - Hands-on experience working with payroll data (e.g., pay elements, deductions, statutory compliance, pensions, benefits).
- - Support payrolldata migration and cleansing activities.
- - Assist in execution and reconciliation of payroll data loads.
- Qualification Status
- - Strong technical skills for handling payroll data uploads, transformations, and validations.
- - Proficiency with Microsoft applications; ETL or data migration tooling experience desirable.
- - Knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central / Employee Central Payroll and integration with time and benefits systems is advantageous.
- Track record
- - Experience in payroll data migration, reconciliation, and validation against statutory and compliance requirements.
- - Strong attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and data quality.
- - Strong communication skills to liaise with HR, Payroll, Finance, and lT stakeholders.
- - Team player, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet payroll deadlines.
- Business Control & Reporting
- - Generate reports and KPls to validate payroll data integrity.
- Project Control
- - Participate in payroll data cleansing projects to improve accuracy and compliance.
- Risk & Gontrol
- - Support development of payroll data policies, standards, and controls.
- - Ensure I data handli and HMRC rements
