What Will You Do?
Your core objective is to engage and onboard internal talent, with a persistent focus on ensuring a high-quality experience for candidates and hiring teams. As the functional advisor for Talent Acquisition, you will be in charge of formulating the talent acquisition strategy for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
You'll collaborate with hiring managers to attract and secure skilled individuals across various departments such as operations, commercial, and corporate positions. This role provides a chance to lead end-to-end recruitment processes while delivering an outstanding candidate journey.
Operating in a lively, collaborative setting, you'll develop successful sourcing strategies, conduct competency-based interviews, and establish strong connections with collaborators. You'll bring to bear modern recruitment technologies and effective approaches to identify and engage qualified candidates while ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies. This position allows you to contribute to our talent acquisition strategies while acting as an ambassador of our culture built on Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate positive relationships with the business, HR Business Partners, and the Centre of Excellence to nurture effective working connections and build credibility for the Talent Acquisition function.
- Complete full life cycle searches, including developing search strategies, sourcing, prescreening, assessing, and interviewing candidates, and presenting recommendations on qualified candidates to the hiring team.
- Leverage various channels, including social media, to develop relationships with external candidates and talent pools.
- Develop proactive pipelines of a strong and diverse network of potential candidates.
- Collaborate with HR and all internal collaborators, aligning with organizational processes.
- Advise and educate Hiring Managers on Leader Standard Work implemented by Global Talent Acquisition.
- Stay current with organizational changes (acquisitions, reorganizations, new product offerings) as well as industry and technology trends that may impact hiring strategies and needs.
- Participate in regional Talent Acquisition projects or perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
How Will You Get Here?
Qualifications And Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience.
- Familiarity with recruitment workflow and sourcing methodology.
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in English and Korean.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment with adaptability to adjust efficiently.
- Proficiency with various CRM or applicant tracking systems, as well as Microsoft Office products, is advantageous.
- Prior experience working cross-functionally to support large and complex organizations is a plus.
