Your Mission:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on critical leadership and specialized hiring strategies.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role-specific needs, conduct intake interviews to set clear expectations on “must-haves” and “good-to-haves,” and provide timely updates on candidate pipelines.
- Use advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean logic and talent mapping, to identify relevant candidates through databases and external agencies.
- Conduct personalized outreach to engage and attract top talent, acting as the first point of contact for candidates.
- Screen applications, resumes, and cover letters to assess candidate fit; conduct initial screening calls to qualify candidates and explore their background and career goals.
- Manage the entire interview process for candidates, including scheduling interviews, preparing candidates, coordinating feedback collection, and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Lead offer extension and negotiation processes, managing all communication until the offer is accepted.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including those not selected.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with executive search firms and recruitment agencies.
- Oversee vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with hiring objectives for critical roles.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs related to vendor effectiveness, time-to-fill, and quality-of-hire.
- Identify and prioritize key industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
- Manage relationships with event organizers and stakeholders to maximize employer brand presence.
- Represent the organization at industry forums to build talent pipelines and enhance company visibility.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles.
- Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies using networks, market intelligence, and talent communities.
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and proactively build candidate pipelines.
- Recommend improvements to recruitment processes for high-impact roles.
What You Bring to the Table:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Experience:
- 7+ years in recruitment, with at least 2 years focused on strategic or senior-level hiring.
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Experience recruiting across multiple provinces and bilingual roles.
Skills:
- Advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping).
- Strong relationship-building and consultative skills.
- Data-driven decision-making and reporting capabilities.
- English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is preferred
Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
